Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 11 amβ9 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Newark is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Newark is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New Jersey's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I been eating at Blaze pizza for quite a while, and even before becoming out in the street homeless, I've been a pizza person for almost my entire life but years ago had to change to fully vegan because my soul was since I was a child nothing fake nothing to be using to be nosey in company's with either, I'm truly vegan, I normally order a vegan pizza from here which is entirely helpful to me because of a lot of popular pizza locations not having vegan pizza around my neighborhood, you have to build one without cheese, so what a blessing to find at this location vegan pizza with fake cheese, but being in such devastating times I would rather be at home making a frozen pizza [but I'm homeless] also when receiving my cinnamon sticks non cooked on the last cinnamon stick as some sort of surprise, but honestly I do love the fact the the young woman did change my pizza when the guy sprinkled the wrong cheese on it at first, I told her to just cut out the middle not to be sarcastic it's just the fact I'm tired of certain individuals disrespecting my food choices that is born within me nothing fake, the employee fixed the pizza but to my surprise the cinnamon sticks wasn't fully cooked, s

Our family stopped by for lunch and decided to order the Meat Eater Pizza, with everyone customizing their own pizza to suit their taste. I added grilled chicken, mushrooms, black olives, and extra mozzarella to mine, and it turned out exactly the way I wanted. The pizzas were prepared surprisingly quickly and served piping hot straight from the oven. The ingredients tasted fresh, the crust was perfectly baked, and everyone in our group really enjoyed their meal. It was a great lunch experience, and this has definitely become one of the pizza places we'll be happy to visit again.

Taj and her team were awesome. I enjoyed watching them prepare our meals carefully and efficiently. They told us about their specials and cooked our pizzas perfectly. Amazing staff and delicious food.

Iβve been to this location a few times during my lunch break, and itβs always busy which is a good sign. Sometimes thereβs a line, but it moves fast and the service is efficient. I always order a pepperoni pizza and ask the cashier to cook it a little longer it comes out with that perfect crunch, just how I like it. They also have a dine-in area, which is great if you want to sit down and enjoy your meal.
